Fully enclosed robot track

A fully enclosed robot track, also known as the seventh axis of an industrial robot or the robot’s walking axis, is a linear mobile device used to expand the working range of industrial robots. The equipment uses a servo motor to drive a rack and pinion transmission, enabling the robot to move stably and precisely back and forth along the track. One robot can serve multiple workstations, making it suitable for automated scenarios such as material handling, welding, palletizing, loading and unloading, painting, assembly, and inspection.

The fully enclosed structure houses the guide rail, rack, cable chain, and main transmission components inside a protective cover, effectively reducing the ingress of dust, welding slag, oil, and foreign objects. This minimizes the impact of the external environment on equipment operation and improves the cleanliness and safety of the production site.
