The gantry crane robot is a Cartesian coordinate robot designed for automated material handling, packing, stacking, and loading/unloading operations. The equipment utilizes a high-strength gantry frame structure and achieves precise gripping, translation, lifting, and stacking of workpieces between different workstations through X, Y, and Z axis linkage. It can replace manual labor in repetitive and labor-intensive material handling tasks.
The equipment can be configured with vacuum suction cups, pneumatic grippers, mechanical clamps, magnetic clamps, or combinations thereof to meet the needs of single-piece gripping, multi-piece gripping, full-layer handling, and automated palletizing, depending on the type of workpiece, such as cartons, bags, crates, pallets, sheet metal, metal parts, and drums.
It can move in the forward, backward, left, right, and up/down directions, and the stroke can be customized according to site space, conveyor line location, and pallet size.
