Robotic Skyrail

$1.00

Robot track (also known as the seventh axis, walking axis, or external axis) is a track platform installed on the ground that drives a six-axis industrial robot to make long-distance linear movements. It is equivalent to equipping the robot with a “movable base”, which extends the fixed working radius into a long strip working belt. It has high flexibility and is suitable for complex trajectories; long stroke and medium heavy load.

I. Structure

Base: Thick steel plate, fixed to the ground with anchor bolts, high rigidity, and not easily deformed.

Guide Rails and Slides: Precision linear guide rails + sliders, or roller guide rails; the robot is directly mounted on the slide.

Drive System: Servo motor + reducer + rack and pinion (mainstream), or ball screw; accurate positioning and sufficient power.

Protection: Open (simple), semi-enclosed, fully enclosed (dustproof/welding slagproof/oilproof), equipped with cable drag chain protection.

Stroke: Standard 1-50 meters, infinitely extendable.

II. Core Functions

Expanding Scope: Transforming robots from “fixed-point operation” to continuous operation across multiple workstations.

Cost Reduction and Efficiency Improvement: One robot covers multiple devices, reducing the number of robots and increasing utilization.

Enhancing Flexibility: Quickly switching workstations, adapting to multi-variety, small-batch production.

III. Key Features

Long Stroke: Up to 100 meters+, covering the entire production line.

High Load Capacity: 50kg-15 tons, suitable for both light and heavy-duty robots.

High Precision: Repeat positioning accuracy ±0.05-±0.1mm, stable and reliable.

High Speed: Up to 2m/s (120m/min), high efficiency.

Easy Integration: Compatible with any robot from ABB, KUKA, FANUC, Yaskawa, etc.

IV. Typical Applications

Automotive Manufacturing: Welding, painting, and long-station assembly.

Construction Machinery: Welding, grinding, and handling of large workpieces.

Machine Tool Loading and Unloading: One robot serves multiple lathes/machining centers.

Painting/Palletizing: Long-distance painting, warehouse palletizing/depalletizing.
